After a clean start Tony Hotchkiss & Kate Pyle lead the 13 strong fleet at the windward mark, closely followed by Kris & Cora Kenmuir-Hogg, with Sam Blocksidge & Alison Norbury in third. Kris & Cora sailed into the lead and won the race comfortably, while behind them positions changed in the shifty conditions. Keith & Alistair Macaulay came through to second place while Tony & Kate finished third.
In the second race Martin & Holly Evans led round the first mark from Tony & Kate with Dave & Lynne Jakeman in third. After a slow start Keith & Alistair fought through to take the lead, with Martin & Holly and Tony & Kate chasing hard to the end.
The start of the third race was tense with 3 boats in contention for the overall title. A large wind shift part way up the first beat favoured those boats that had gone left, allowing Keith & Alistair to reach the windward mark first. Martin & Holly were second followed by Tony & Kate, with Kris & Cora in fourth. With clear wind Keith & Alistair held the lead to the end while Tony & Kate, Kris & Cora and Martin & Holly battled all the way round to finish in that order.
