Wild and wacky open at Hamble

 

16 boats faced crazy conditions on Saturday – gusts from 0-28 knots, wind shifting though 120 degrees, 2009 National Champion finished 1 from last in Race 1 yet won Race 2!

Several sailors needed to wash the mud from their sails that evening…

Things settled down on Sunday…3 great races in 1 force 4-5, excellent hiking practice for Tenby. Lots of different leaders but Nigel and Sally came out on top in the end.
