Great fun was had by all 41 boats who entered the 2024 Sailboat Trailers Firefly Inland Championships!
The numbers were boosted by a fabulous turn out of local school and university sailors.
On Saturday, the race officer managed to get 5 sprint races in (despite the shifty winds), each of which was won by a different boat!
On Sunday, 3 longer races were held in equally shifty and challenging conditions.
Overall, Nigel Wakefield and Emily Saunderson (Saturday) / Jenny Johnson (Sunday) emerged victorious.
Thanks to the class sponsors, Sailboat Trailers, Craftinsure, Allen, Hyde, Marlow, Selden, Ovington, kSail, the class was able to give out many prizes, celebrating the achievements of all parts of the fleet.
