Fairey Marine sales ledger notes despatched by train from Hamble railway station to Shrewsbury, 1 January 1957.
RYA measured 28 December 1956, constructed on mould number 4, hull weight noted at 173lb. Standard all varnished hull, except boat name (“Gamecock”) and club (S.S.C.) gold – leaved on transom at an extra cost.
1st owner – Francis Whitley, Shropshire SC, named “Tunny”
(No family relation to F952)

Suggestion, perhaps, also owned by L Whitley within family
May 2012 – advertised for sale, NFA website, Shropshire, still in the hands of original family owners, probably laid up since c1970
