1st owner – RAF Sailing Assn, perhaps initially based at Calshot, named “Chivenor” One Firefly of a batch of three, F2283/F2285, collected by Squadron Leader Lumbly from the Hamble workshop 11 February 1959. RYA 1969 records suggest all three still owned by the RAF Sailing Assn but location uncertain.
