“Purchased from the Collyers of Bourne End, Bucks (Upper Thames SC) at the start of 2013 in near original condition.

The boat (2014) is currently being converted to a Mark lV, (2015 – now completed) her original fittings and rig have been shipped to Russell Dickinson (see F3300) for use on his other Firefly restorations.

Her Fairey Marine builder’s plate is intact and I was told that she has the prototype aluminium centre plate made from material from the conning tower of a WW2 sub, and that her trolley wheels are Spitfire tail wheels!”
