Boat Register notes –

This wooden Firefly appears to feature in a well known publicity image, taken on the Fairey Marine stand at the London Earls Court International Boat Show, probably January 1971, the boat happily posing with a group of Firefly ladies proudly wearing their NFA class tee shirts. However, the actual displayed boat was probably a Fairey Marine grp hull, being exhibited with an incorrectly numbered suit of Ratsey and Lapthorn sails, “borrowed” from F3300. The identity of the grp hull has yet to be confirmed.
