Known Owners: . Thought to be the first hull built with an imposed modification to move shroud anchorage points and leads thro the side decks 6 inches aft, to increase stability of the rig, especially downwind in a breeze. Anchorage point for the kicking strap to the boom moved forward 6 inches to improve access and space for the crew. The original slot to be covered with a permanent blank. It seems these changes to the class specification were imposed and all Fireflies constructed previously would require modification to remain class legal. The necessary kits were made available by Fairey Marine at nominal cost 1st owner - Mr Wetherall, Parkstone YC Date uncertain - Hon Patrick Back QC, Bosham SC, see F2660 c1966 - ICF Warley, West Wittering SC
