Llangorse sailing club (founded in 1952) has about 200 members and is based on Llangorse Lake (in the Brecon Beacons National Park and next to a Special Site of Scientific Interest). Dinghy sailing here is safe and picturesque, on the second largest inland water in Wales(about 400 acres).

From the East:
M5 ------>M50----->A40----->through Abergavenny towards Brecon
Through Bwlch, Turn right @ War Memorial onto B4560
Approx. 3 Miles to Llangors,
Enter village, turn left at Village Hall (towards Llanfihangel Tal-y-llyn)
After 300 meters turn left towards the lake
Pass the shop/diner to your left and turn right to cross the common to the sailing club before you come to Acorn Adventures

From the North
From Builth Wells
Take A470----->A479----->B4560 (towards Trefecca, just beforeTalgarth).
Enter Llangors, turn right at Village Hall (towards Llanfihangel Tal-y-llyn)
After 300 meters turn left towards the lake
Pass the shop/diner to your left and turn right to cross the common to the sailing club before you come to Acorn Adventures

From the South
M4----->J24(A449) Toward Monmouth ------>Join A40 at Raglan, signposted Abergavenny.
through Abergavenny towards Brecon
Through Bwlch, Turn right @ War Memorial onto B4560
